bummer x10… bessblog: Le French Diner is one of my favorite NYC restaurants and I’ve been served by Zucco many times. I hope that this wonderful little spot he created lives on. RIP Zucco. brianquinn: This past Saturday, one of my favorite local restaurant owners, Zucco, died.  He was the sometimes surly, but friendly goateed fellow who, after opening his small restaurant in 2005, quickly became a staple of the LES. I hope his restaurant and namesake will live on in this neighborhood.  He certainly helped make it what it is today and I will always remember the incredible meals and times spent with him in that tiny place.  R.I.P.
